If you’re looking for a fun family activity, make plans for Hinsdale Humane Society’s bowling fundraiser, “Spare” the Animals, on Saturday, March 8, from 11 am to 2 pm at Willowbrook Lanes, 735 Plainfield Rd. in Willowbrook.
The event’s sponsors are Whole Foods Market Hinsdale and Fox’s Pizza of Hinsdale. They will be supplying the pizza and food for an afternoon filled with bowling and a variety of raffle prizes designed for both children and adults. With something for everyone, prizes include items such as a $50 Cheesecake Factory gift card, free Interior Design services and free dog training.
Tickets are $28 for adults and $18 for children. All proceeds from the event go to the care and maintenance of homeless animals at HHS.
“What a great way to spend a March day,” says Lori Halligan, Executive Director at HHS. “It’s going to be a wonderful few hours of fun, family, food and prizes, and all of it goes toward helping our
homeless animals.”
Tickets can be purchased online at hinsdalehumanesociety.org , or by stopping by the shelter to register.
