Every day is a great day to add a canine companion to your family, but especially during Hinsdale Humane Society’s Adopt-A-Dog Month this October.

“Adoption is such a great option for people looking to add a canine companion to their home, and right now we have dogs of nearly every type, size, age and personality available at Hinsdale Humane Society,” says Jennifer Vlazny, HHS Operations Manager.

All HHS adoptable dogs go through behavior testing to determine their personality type, which helps adoption counselors make the best match possible for adopters.

Families adopting a dog or puppy from HHS in October will receive an Adopt-a-Dog Gift Bag that includes an array of treats and toys. A special raffle is planned comprised of a variety of exciting dog related prizes, including a maximum $100 adoption discount, gift certificates for obedience training and pet sitting services, plush dog beds, designer collars, and much more!
