When the owner of a large dog is faced with a sick or injured pet needing medical attention, simply moving the pet can be challenging — and lifting the pet without the correct equipment can complicate the problem or even make matters worse.

To address this issue, TransPet Services recently installed a new 500-pound lift in their transport van. This new technology, along with a hip and full body harness and wheeled stretchers, means there is now no need to lift or pick up a large dog. In fact, TransPet Services has moved large dogs up to 230 pounds with ease, including dogs with a hip fracture, a broken leg and a torn ACL as well as several post-surgical canine patients.

With the 500-pound lift, pets stay on a firm, level, no-slip surface to be lifted to the floor of the transport van and then may walk or move inside to a carpeted bed. No climbing into the car, stretching or pulling required! Call 630-370-4270 or visit www.TransPetServ.com to learn more.
