Meet Miley! Turning one year old this spring, Miley is a small girl with a big heart. She loves to play, she loves to cuddle and she’s won over the hearts of many rescue volunteers. Miley is great with other dogs and she loves children. Although she can be slightly shy at first, she quickly opens up and is happy to play or lay by your side. Miley has just about mastered house training with very few accidents, she loves to go for walks and she is fantastic on a leash! Miley knows basic commands like sit, shake and down and she crates easily. She is also good on car rides!
Safe Haven Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit dog rescue based out of Kane County. All of the dogs in the Safe Haven program are rescued from high kill shelters in the southern states. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local vets and trainers, Safe Haven has been able to rescue and re-home over 700 dogs & puppies in just a few years. Safe Haven is 100% foster based, so all dogs are put into foster care until they find their “furever” home.
