Big boy looking for a snuggle buddy! Meet Shane, a handsome American Staffordshire mix, who is looking for a foster home or his forever companions. Shane loves people, is great in the home, is house-trained and has had advanced training with expert trainers.

Shane loves to ride in the car and does not have to be crated in the house. He is always happy to see people when they get home! Shane is an energetic boy who would do best with a fenced yard in which to run and play. He needs to be the only dog in the home.

Shane has been called a “couch potato” at times because he likes to snuggle next to people he loves. He is incredibly affectionate! Shane is a very special dog because the Bryan Brickell Foundation sponsored training for Shane for four weeks at the Dog District in Darien.

While attending the Dog District, he had experience with obedience classes and controlled play groups. Shane is a fantastic dog! If you’d like to meet Shane or find out more about him, please contact Almost Home Foundation volunteer Debbie Szenda at 847-630-3913 or DSzenda@westsuburbandog.com.
